How does High Blood Pressure
effect arteries?
With rise
in age the arteries throughout the body harden,this
stiffness in the arteries is caused by High
blood pressure .Thus causing the heart
and kidneys
to work harder. Due to hardening of the arteries the
heart cannot get enough oxygen resulting in chest pain
(angina) . If the flow of blood is blocked, a heart
attack can occur .
