How does High Blood Pressure
effect heart?
High
blood pressure causes arteries to harden and resulting
in stiffer arteries .In these narrow and hardened arteries
the heart cannot get enough oxygen , and hence results
in chest
pain (angina). Sometimes condition is worsened when
the flow of blood is blocked, then a heart
attack can occur .
Due to High
blood pressure another serious condition can be
faced when the heart is unable to pump enough blood
to supply the body's needs and thus resulting into congestive
heart failure .High blood pressure is considered
the number one risk factor for congestive heart failure
